Denmark – Adventure Therapy DK
”Adventure Therapy Denmark” is a network for interested professionals in the field of Adventure Therapy and the Danish understanding of the term. Adventure Therapy focuses on the use of the great outdoors (the Danish term: friluftslivet) in a therapeutic and challenging way. A number of professionals such as social workers, nature guides, teachers, scout leaders etc. have long since used the great outdoors of Denmark in their work with children, adolescents and adults. The outdoors as a therapeutic frame is not widespread in Denmark something this network can hopefully change.
